Attorney Profiles (Josh)

Joshua E. Rodgers, Esq., MBA

Josh is a licensed attorney in the State of Florida. He was born and raised in a small town outside of Mobile, AL. Josh went to Satsuma High School where he was a star linebacker for the varsity football team. After high school, he walked-on to play football at the University of Southern Mississippi. Josh later became a cadet in the university’s Air Force ROTC program.

After graduation, Josh entered the United States Air Force as a commissioned officer. During his 8-year career, he deployed overseas to Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. During this time, Josh obtained an M.B.A. from Webster University by taking night classes after work. He was awarded various military medals and ribbons before honorably separating from active duty military service at the rank of Captain (O-3).

Once his military career was completed, Josh set his sights on becoming an attorney. He attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL where he was president of the school’s Sports Law Society. Josh graduated from law school with both a J.D. and a Business Law Certificate for his elective business curriculum.

Shortly after law school, Josh passed the Florida Bar Exam and worked as an in-house counsel for a California-based company with offices across several states, including Florida. His job involved many HR functions, essentially making him the one-person Legal and HR Department for the company. Because his job incorporated many Human Resources functions, Josh went back to school and graduated with an M.A. in Human Resources Management to better understand the career field as a whole.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, Jacqueline, his son, Dillon, and his two dogs, Zëk and Zoë. His favorite outdoor activity is playing sand doubles volleyball with his friends at the beaches near Jacksonville, FL.
